    The History of Beverly Hills:

    Beverly Hills is a rich and prosperous place located in Southern California. In 1900, Burton Green and his partners bought Morocco for the Amalgamated Oil Company and established a new round of oil exploration. They were recognized as the Rodeo Land and Water Company in 1906 after drilling a number of unproductive wells. Green and his wife renamed the place Beverly Hills after Beverly Farms, Massachusetts.
